Research In Motion (RIM), the maker of BlackBerry handsets has officially announced BlackBerry “Style” 9670 clamshell, formerly codenamed BlackBerry “Oxford.”
The BlackBerry Style goes on sale on October 31. The BlackBerry Style 9670 is RIM’s second flip mobile phone behind the Pearl 82xx series, but the clamshell handheld is the first flip BlackBerry device with a full QWERTY keyboard. It’s also the first officially released CDMA BlackBerry to run RIM’s latest mobile OS, BlackBerry 6, and it’s only the second BlackBerry 6 device, behind RIM’s BlackBerry Torch.
