PTA brings Vehicle tracking System

Pakistan Government caring for car owners by providing GPS vehicle tracking system:

Pakistan government in collaboration with Pakistan telecommunication authority (PTA) has started online car tracking system, few years back. Government has taken such outstanding step in order to take a firm grip over ever increasing car stealing activities and to execute this wonderful plan PTA started installation of GPS devices in vehicles. Few years back we use to go to the police stations whenever a car is stolen just to pay some sort of refreshment money to the officials and even then getting no response from them. Disappointment was what the police gave whenever anyone’s car is looted by the criminals and he/she reported in police stations, but now the government has launched an online GPS vehicle tracking system.

Most of us know about the famous GPS technology so there is no such need of explaining that but yet for those who are unfamiliar to GPS I am giving a brief introduction

What is GPS?

GPS is an electronic device that is connected to the GPS satellite via microwaves. GPS satellite keeps track of the location of that GPS device. So that device connected to anything indirectly become a source of that thing’s location.

So GPS device if installed in a vehicle become a source of that vehicle’s tracking. So if you have installed GPS system in your car and the car is stolen all you need to do is to visit the company (registered with PTA) which installed the system and they will let you know your car’s location in seconds.
